Journey Well, LLC is a small private practice in Mason, OH providing in-office and telehealth mental health services for children, teens, and adults. Our approach is trauma-informed and inclusive. We would love to welcome one new full-time licensed clinician to our team!

The basics:
- You would be a full time W2 employee, NOT a 1099 contractor
- Your work week would be Tuesdays through Saturdays (our general operating hours are Tuesdays through Fridays 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and Saturdays 9:00 am - 2:00 pm)
- Your earliest client sessions would start between 9:00 - 10:00 am Tuesdays through Saturdays
- Your latest client sessions would end between 5:00 - 6:00 pm Tuesdays through Fridays and by 2:00 pm Saturdays (weekday appointments 3:00 pm or later and Saturday appointments are always most in demand)
- Your full time scheduling would average 24 - 28 client sessions per week
What we ask of you:
- Trauma-informed Diagnostic Intake Assessments
- Client-driven Treatment Plans
- Individual sessions with children, teens, and adults (Let us know if you also love working with couples and families!)
- Meeting with clients in the office and via telehealth video sessions from the office
- Maintaining timely and accurate documentation in TheraNest, our EHR
- Collaborating on client care with the Journey Well, LLC team and outside providers (referral sources include courts, physicians, schools, other behavioral health providers, and County Boards of Developmental Disabilities)
- Contributing to the team-oriented and collaborative practice environment
- Participating in weekly group supervision/team meetings in the office
- Desire to continue learning and growing as a clinician
- Flexibility and understanding regarding the time it will take to build up to a full-time caseload, as this position will not be inheriting a ready-made caseload but will be building off of our client waitlist (this will be faster if you're independently licensed)
What we offer you:
- Withholding and filing your payroll taxes
- Coverage under our professional liability insurance
- Your own dedicated office space in an inviting atmosphere and supportive work environment
- Basic equipment (e.g., laptop) and supplies, including items for expressive and play therapy
- Weekly group supervision/team meeting to talk about caseload, clinical, and operational issues
- Primary fee-for-service compensation is a percentage of the revenue you generate (our revenue comes from select private insurances, Ohio Medicaid and its Managed Care Organizations, and out-of-pocket payments)
- Payout percentages start at 50% for dependently licensed clinicians and 55% for independently licensed clinicians
- Additional compensation for nonbillable tasks based on average number of client sessions scheduled per week
- Paid time off of 12 days per calendar year with maximum accrual of 17 days in any given calendar year, rate based on average number of client sessions scheduled per week
- Financial assistance with formal continuing education training
- Ongoing support and guidance to further your professional growth
- Work supervision for dependently licensed clinicians
- Training supervision for LPC working toward LPCC and LPCC working toward LPCC-S
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree with active State of Ohio license as LPC, LPCC, LPCC-S, LSW, LISW, LISW-S, MFT, IMFT, IMFT-S
- Doctoral Degree with active State of Ohio license as Psychologist
